Atiku Abubakar has won more votes than Tambuwal. 912 votes and counting.


Rivers State delegates, who voted overwhelmingly for Governor Aminu Tambuwal, are sober a source told our correspondent in Port Harcourt.


With a total of 1553 votes already accounted for including void votes, Atiku Abubakar is expected to win the primaries.

The People’s Democratic Party is currently holding its national convention to select its candidate for the next general elections.

The voting has been done by about 4000 delegates who are at the Port Harcourt venue.
